I stand alone with a mighty sword
Armour in hand with the thoughts to bored
I sway at the winds, to the sand and lore
To the dance called life and no where to Go.
Battles and words, wars with its wings
Open are all for the sweat bloods to sing
No more the melody and the rhythm of life
Bludgeoning the kings and their wives.
The troupes of the yore for the garden's nest
Bright is the sun and the breeze next best
A moment of glory and a moment to smile
Trouble in the pot is not even a mile
Where are the learned and happy gone sway?
Where is the sanctum and the lord to pray?
Where is my life sans pale and Grey?
Where are my soldiers or am i their prey?
Not for the lives of the thunderous drives
Not for the good with the evil so might
Pitch of salt on the red ol wound
Swelling my blood and burning the moon.
Feels like a summer for river gone dry
Waiting for the rains to listen to its cry
This is a desert and the clouds too high
So is the nature and the luck of mine.................

Aakhri Alfaaz
Yuhni kabhi mandlaatha phir raha tha
Yuhni kahin muskuraatha dikhraha tha
Yuhni miti muskaan ki har woh lamha
Yuhni miti zindagi ki har tamanna
Kyu mein dekhoo har uns un faristo mein
Kyu mein khojoo har fikr in darindon mein
Kyu har tassavur bunde keharaha mein
Kyu har musafir pade tanhaayion mein
Ye kaisi hai raatein, chubee saare baatein
chupke dilnon mein hai mushkil badhaatein
Chala jaa raha hoon yeh sab ko sunaatey
chali zindagi sabko jeena sikhaatey
Daraatein, rulaatein hai khanjar dikhaatein
gire jaaraha hoon mein aansoo bahaatein
Na hai dil mein aise armaan koi
na hai intezaar na fariyaad koi
na hai iqtila hai na ruksaan koi
Nikal jaate kehta hai payambar sa koi
nikal jaayega thake haare duniyaase koi
nikal jaaonga maare saqt zindaa mein koi
Na sikke dilaaye na soharat badhaaye
na rokhe hawayein na kamsin bhulaye
Chala jaaon sab chodke har duwaye
yeh maangi hai duniya mujhe bas rulaye

True - Love
What I see may not be true
What I read may not be true
What I say may not be true
What I do may not be true
What I feel is nothing but true
It’s now that my heart beats for you
It’s now that I feel I do love you
I want to be, the eye of you
And see the life well through you
I want to be, the heart of you
And sleep in the warmth, which is you
I shall be the thought of you
And make you feel what I am to you
Oh my angel I know love is you
Oh my angel I know life is you
And thus I know I love you
Scared I am
Shook the next,
Cocked the past,
Presents did come
And took me hard
Mountain the cliffs
No release to mists
River went glitz
Flood hit me witch
Dreams I see now
Are sultry and dry
Lost is thy charm
Energies are fried
Opened my eyes
To see clear skies
Took a step out
The weather went nigh
Summers of solitude
Winters of cry
Raining are the storms
Spring lost thy
I am scared of the steps I take
I am scared of the decisions I make
How I am scared of the Justin’ lake
Seems to my eyes is a life that’s fake.
Did I start well
With the courage mustered
How I wish to tell
And see these dreams shattered
When everything seems to go wrong
When dusk seems to begin at dawn
When closed eyes seem to hear a song
When wind blows hard and time seems to be long
When every thrown word seems to prove you wrong
You just stand still and the life goes on and on and on.
Scared I am not of death,
Scared I am for the roses bed,
Though shall not be scared of rest,
Lest I am scared of self...Lest I am scared of “my” self…..
I Feel
Why do I feel I know you all the time?
Why do I feel my heart beat outside of mine?
Why do I feel the smell of the sweet wine?
Why do I feel that I feel you all the time?
Why do I feel the fluttering of the leaves?
Why do I feel pleasant and soothing breeze,
Why do I feel I am very much at ease?
Why do I feel I see you next to me at these times?
Why do I feel the calmness of the rain?
Why do I feel the strain is gone down drain?
Why do I feel chirping of the birds?
Why do I feel I am lost for words?
I was a feeler all my life
Realized the truth as I opened my eyes
As I get ready to embrace the kind
Thrown in front is deep barren land.
Then I felt I had no time
Then I felt the world had all the time
Now I feel I have all the time
Now I feel the world has no time.
How much I feel now
Being alone is no crime.
When i Go
You will remember me when I go,
You will feel for my thoughts when I go,
You will surely cry when I go,
You shall reach out to thy when I go.
I was there for you all along,
Every moment I was your song,
You did keep me out of your Kong,
I did wait for you very long,
Now you turned up and I am gone.
Hatred and goose bumps,
Jealousy now made you a clown
You have ceased all jumps,
Cupid stuck to make you frown.
Never you looked for a second,
Never will a third come to you,
Lost was the first and gone was second,
Why you wait forth come to you?
Listen, just listen, listen at least now,
Why do you forget to say me a “Wow”
Where will I go if you desert me…..
Life is my name, Hey do you know me???????
Lifeless Life
Grumping up the mystery of the dreams,
Throwing light on mesmerizing breams.
Why aren’t the worlds alike?
Just for the sake of dipterous, juvenile part and Mars to hike.
Are we in the creamy lakes to cliché the burping birds?
Or these songs been seen to get the stay of nerds?
Lest it says that all stay in the ocean beats,
Wilts the clock turns, runs and bleeds.
Do I remember you all the time?
No never will I.
How can I ever remember you?
Forget you should I first for a time.
World did ask why lifeless life
You did ask with the concern so high
I didn’t know the things gone by
As sanity and words bit the knife
No relations for the lines above,
Poet I am in the worst abode.
Though I let the words to flow,
Asked my mind, the heart to go.
Heart went stale,
Thoughts put a brake,
So didn’t I quake
Thus trust remains safe.

Withering Weather
Generally, solutions are not the ideals. For that to happen I expect at least a clear study of the problem in hand in the first place. Saying that, many would still second me for the problem that is being identified is something which is being studied for more than 6 decades and most of the million odd brains are still perplexed. What makes it so is that the identified scenario is both the problem and the solution. Long ago when the language of English was being formed, these scenarios were identified and was given a name which lead to the birth of a new word. This word that I am talking about is the main problem as well as the solution that we have been trying to provide and implement. To the best of my knowledge all my co-humans spell it as a B-L-A-M-E. Hope I got the spelling right.
Is there anyone or anything that is not being blamed? Is there any blame that is not is not being made? Or confidingly is there a BLAME that is not yet been blamed? Strange thoughts arise when this game begins. And I wonder who turns victor at the end. NONE? NONE….. None!!!! This is the tough weather that everyone is facing. The politico drama is not just with the politicos ruling us. It’s a day to day routine that the world is following. A righteous encrustation needs to be brought in the order of the day to set up an uphill elevated mangling end to frivolous life that we are heading to.
If we can we have to urge ourselves to take it upon the self for all the deeds, misdeeds and mishaps. Easier said than done, wont we pride when the happier results follow the sultry times that we would have given? Why shy away from owning? Why tasking brains than tasking self? I have heard from some brains that there is a very thin line to differentiate between a conversation and an argument. Though the former can lead to latter, the reverse is unseen or unheard in the communicational history. Standing a few meters away from the danger line doesn’t mean we have surrendered. It means we are planning to set the things straight before taking the plunge.
Withering the lines of fire takes to the pleasant weather which has the rain as well as the warm breeze. Some one living in an Igloo proved me “right” here. Test yourself.

Quo Vadis
Which provided me with a much needed rest.
I was thankful to the birdie which chirped
And gave the best to this disgusting guest.
The tree gave the shade,
And allowed the tough storm to fade.
It gave me its fruits
And reminded me of my roots.
While I looked at the sky,
Both in the day and in the night,
I caught a feeling "I wasn’t alone":
Though the time was to prone.
Life was running too hard, for me to catch,
I never had the time, to mix, match and latch.
How stupid I would have been, had I let it gone by,
And cried all night after saying “Good Bye”.
A laughter and a tear, threw the sorrow fear,
Made happiness in life look so near.
I am grateful to the tree, not for the fruit.
I am grateful to the bird, not for the chirp.
Grateful I am to the sky, to the stars and to the moon,
Not at all for the thoughts that made me a maroon.
Happiness and sorrow are part of life.
Laughter says “tear is my wife”.
We all stand on a think edge of a knife,
Yet, Life makes us to lead it king size.
Why complain when life asks “Quo Vadis?”: even the Jesus knows
Though the Peter knows, you answer and the life goes

Monsoon
Greenery all around and muddy waters everywhere, children playing around with dirt everywhere, does anyone have a concern for the horrible wear? I guess not as the enjoyment is breathing in the air. The smiles of these faces are bringing cheer to all, children can trill and monsoon will frill, bringing all obsolete doubts to fall.
Rain does hamper our commuting; still it acts fair keeping us indoors and where is your family that was complaining? Happy faces all around, eating the sweets and singing the festival songs, farmer is happy and so is the clown. Sweat of the hot days are long gone by, wet is the mantra for the days to come by. Lets all enjoy and greet each other, dusserha and diwali will join us together.
All foretold the colors of life; depicts the rainbow with red blue and white. Sun does come down and says you a ‘hi’, brings with it the clouds which never says ‘bye bye’. Working life can get you to be a meek, while the child in you plays hide and seek. Let him come out and play to the best; good old days are long gone but life is still at its full zest.
Enjoy the monsoon, be a kid. Life is here, to be your fid.

Here I Am
The Snowy Peaks
The Mystic Deeps,
The Ganges Cheers
And thus it speaks.
Deep Blue Skies
Dense Dark Nights,
Enchanting Falls
Love All Alike.
Normal Life
What Crimson’s Tide,
Cometh Here
Calls Nature’s snide.
Challenge the Hills
Mountain the Cliffs,
Scale these Heights
Forget your Plights.
Mother Nature with her arms open
Calls you to Embrace,
Lo she murmurs
In your ears:
“Oh Dear, Come Near, Why Fear? I am Here!”
Beloved words these
Pulled me to her,
Close to my heart
And so was I to her.
Panning the Thoughts
Releasing all Knots,
Met her Affection
Gained Immaterialist Satisfaction.
Now I am Back
Fresh on Track,
Missing her Love
I wanna go Back.
Here I Am. Here I Am. Here I Am.

So Called First
Alright, I will talk through about my first day in MSRIT, oops! My second day as the first was orientation which I missed.
The first (second) day in college, I was just able to manage to reach the entrance. Here began the confusion, and the biggest confusion was the MSRIT building itself, which had many entrances. I was looking at people going in many ways but I was clueless where was I supposed to go. I followed the crowd as nothing flashed to me at that time. Up front was a huge campus inside, and made life difficult as all corners seemed the same. It was nothing less than a territory, it was Ramaiah’s empire.. This search landed me no where and before I could know it was time for me to go home. This unfinished search was supposed to be extended for the next day too. Next I saw a guy who was studying in one corner, he looked so studious that I felt he was not the ragging kinda person so I approached him. But after a few months in college I realized that people in engineering study only during internals: after few years that few study before exams ALONE.. Coming back, I went to him and asked him for 1st semester classes, in response he asked about the room number which was given the previous day in the function. God!!! I realized the importance of first day. And then he suggested me to go to office and ask. Where will I searched for office? /\?..
As I was walked around, I found a lecturer, and he took me to the notice board and clarified my doubts and gave me all the details required to go to telecom classroom. I then went to class, interrupted the lecturer, as it was the first day I was excused. It was a great relief. There was a surprise awaiting me in the class. You know why, first of all I had a seat somewhere in the second last bench, no one on either side to ask or clarify about what’s happening. Add to that the Lecturer was discussing oscillators, blah blah… which I had never heard , but still it was fine as everything was fresh. What surprised me even more was the chorus sound with which the students where shouting out the answers for everything the teacher asked. At last she told that this was our syllabus. I thought, I went for a toss at that moment thinking that syllabus was completed and I missed everything. I was thinking that this is the way all engineering colleges teach complete syllabus in one hour: then why the hell 6 months. I comforted myself saying if they can do it in one hr even I can do: something had seriously gone wrong .Attendance sheet was passed and I dint expect my name not to be in that.. Conversely my name wasn’t there and I had no one around me to ask, so I just passed it .The period ended and I got to speak about that attendance with few girls over there ,it was then that I got to know, that I am in electronics class and not in telecom. Can anything go as bad as this?? Yet I was happy that I am not in the class where they finish syllabus in 1 hour .Next I went in search of telecom class room and this time I dint wanted to make any mistake so I confirmed before entering the class. She started telling me something about coming late but I was in such a situation that I dint listen to anything she told except the last statement “don’t come late from next class”. I took to my seat, dint even speak till the class ended as I dint want any further trouble. It was such a relief at the End! The Girl I sat next to was the one whom I had called few days back in order to confirm some things about admission. I Felt sense of easiness as I got to know one whom I knew virtually previously. Everything then was fine and it was a great day; it was the first day and I like the “first”. I mean, whatever I so call my first is very special to me. However I dint know that they will give us classroom number and such details on the induction, otherwise I would have not missed the orientationJ. From then I repeatedly tell others not to miss orientation day, else they would be in trouble (but I am sure not as much as me). Hmm alright that was my first day which was too nice that’s why I do remember it always..

My Wannabe Gadget

I have been an ardent Nokia fan for years and still use one. It had certainly helped me to connect with the world pretty easily and with great mobility. However after 3 years my mobile did start to hang up now and then. Recognizing its service over the course and also with an indent towards a newer piece I started my search. It was here that I found a new breed of Sony Ericsson mobiles. Xperia X1 is touted to be the next biz thing.
Xperia X1 is a mobile which has an arc slider. This impressed to some extent as this is the first time that a mobile has come up with an experimental slider which makes it very easy to handle and navigate. I say navigate as, through sliding one gets to a QWERTY key board which can be used to cover all the functions. To top this it also has a “finger touch” screen panel and can accommodate up to 9 panels at the same time. Isn’t it fabulous? Well this does excite me as it is providing best of the PDA and B Fone features.
A mobile phone would be expected to provide a great display. Well this phone has a 3 inch wide WVGA display screen and projects pictures in DVD quality. In short a 65,536 color TFT display is what we get to view our multi media, on the move. It also has optical joystick and 4-way key for easy navigations.
Add to this a beautiful auto focus 3.2 mega pixel camera for taking great clarity pictures and video. Xperia X1 is pre loaded with Windows Mobile Operating System 6.1, added with Outlook Mobile and Office mobile packages. To better this, it also contains a Handwriting Recognition software and aGPS which helps in knowing the routes in pre selected cities. The music system is being sung to be a surprise package. And the normal stuffs like, Bluetooth™ stereo (A2DP), Media player, Music tones, 3D games and FM radio are as well provided.
It contains an in built phone memory of 400 MB and microSD™ memory card support is as well provided. It comes in two color variants, Black and Silver. Video calling and Predictive text input features might excite more than one. Weighing 158 gms, it contains a Standard battery, Li-Po 1500 mAh (BST-41) and is expected to provide a decent enough talk time back up.
With all these features, and a few more customized ones, we have a great mobile in the offing. I am eagerly awaiting its release in 2nd or 3rd quarter of this year. Price tag is expected to be around 40 K INR. Though its huge money, this master piece is worth the price. What are you waiting, log into to http://www.sonyericsson.com/x1/?lc=en&cc=in and get to know more about this beauty.
Now this is fully loaded for me.

Joyous Fun
While defining success one has to understand that, success gives you pleasure: but not every pleasure gives you success. A happy day does imply that you have been successful in living that day, which most of the time we forget. Few simple things can make a lot of difference. Enjoying whatever we do forms the crux for most of the pleasure. How far are we successful in doing that? Hardly any! We keep forgetting that we have a life to lead and we won’t get our days back. Agreed, it’s easier said than done. Agreed, there are many priorities in life. Does that mean that life doesn’t fall in the priority list? If that’s the case then think once again, we might not be seeing the blue light of Pleasure, Fun and Joy.
Worst of the times is said to get the best out of man. In the times of adversity one has to maintain ones cool and try to find a solution to come out of the troublesome spots. Well its here that we can get to see a lot of people fall. Nothing comes on a platter. Then why expect pleasure and success to be picked so easily. Expectations such as these make one to think down and loose focus. Counting the cards, it’s neither the time nor the problem that makes a man strong. It’s the strength and the will that helps one. A positive and a never say die attitude, mixed with a glimmer of confidence and abundance of fun would help in reaching the goals and achieving life.
The tougher things can be taken a bit lightly. The funny side of a situation at times relaxes and makes us look at the problem reduced to a proportional size. Its here that the easier path to solving the problems begins, a lighter mind can come out with many solutions. Most of the times the optimal ones, a cool mind set does help in many ways and would as well give all the troubles a run for the money.
The culmination seems to be in, thus enjoying and having fun at whatever the situation we are facing. Being thrown into a tough situation teaches us a new lesson and in turn gives us an opportunity to see the funny side of the problems. All of us are capable enough to enjoy our lives. Just by living the life to the fullest by being joyful and enriching it with fun, we can astound everyone with no complications of life.
It’s quite simple, just smile, laugh, enjoy and have a great life. Not everyone gets a second chance. And the first ones are not that bad either. Make the most of every given opportunity. So let’s rock and have Fun!!!!!

Happy Minds at “Ananda Dhama”
Ananda Dhama is a place located around 110 km from Bangalore. It is princely located, what with a set of trees which shoots taller as the day grows down: saying they are up for us. River Kaveri is guzzling around, providing us a flowing thought of cool waters amidst heated star. Add to that a few ducklings and some tents, you have got a lot to enjoy for a day.
An early morning start ensured a lot of energy. The bus started with a buzz of the time of travel. All settled in a moment or two. As we started to move away from our very own concrete jungle, Shylock a campus mind from October batch was called upon for a song. He is a great guitarist with a soothing voice. To the utter disbelief of one and all, he started of a with a Kannada smash hit- “Anisutide Yaako Indu”. This kicked off a spat of songs ranging from Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The ball was set on a roll and the tempo was upped.
The organizers had got things right. Zameer had to compensate for coming late, he did so by providing chocolates and Vishnu pitched in with fruit juice. Zameer had to double up collecting the garbage and made a huge baggage of such collections. Sandhya started of Antakshari and Mrudhul was the border. Thus everyone had a part to play and ensured that a 3 hour long drive didn’t look quite that long.
Having reached the destination, everyone chilled out with a welcome drink. Breakfast was served once everyone had freshened up. The real fun began thus forth. A trek in the woods is always a nice way to rejoice with friends. The path was covered with some he trees and a stream here and there. There was some sweat released, what with the sun baking down. The team, powered by 33 Minds, had a nice pit stop near a small fall. The location was sweet and the water was neat. One could release the body heat in the cool waters and refresh for the next stage.
Some did sit down at the same location. Others had higher highs to scale. Senthil and Co. reached the summit, if I may call so. Rest of us just waited near a small cave for them to return as well as surpass the stress of the climb. After having some breathers, we climbed down the hill to complete a trek which contained moments of fun, ignited by sounds and creeps by these “Junglee” Minds.
The lunch was awaiting our arrival. We could see another set of MindTree Minds in the resort who also had come for the same thing. The lunch was laced with a mixture of north and south Indian cuisine. Eating after a trek is always fulfilling. Lunch was followed by a small cricket practice session. Everyone had a ball, and followed that with a bat. Having had a heart full, everyone ventured into some fun filled activities.
The resort locals call it the Jungle Gym. Well we made some near gymnasium and tried to emulate Tarzans of the group. The games were well planned out. The list had, balancing walk, rope swings, archery and ditch jump. It was in the ditch jump that most had fun. We had the joy of a lifetime when our own Joy alias Mrudhul Joy provided a great jump to cross the water in the ditch and landed the ditch what with water sprinkling all around. After having come back we would have watched the video at least 10 times and have had a great laugh.
This was the moment which all of us were waiting for. Hitting the waters was desperation to most of us. The river looked calm and nature pretty pleasant. The sun had a different direction to travel and we had one way left. That was the direction of the water flow. Boating was enjoyed with some water being splashed by the others. It was more of a raft than a boat.
In the waters, we had our catching skills being honed and refined. Having a catch, and swim was very much mutual in nature. An hour and a half in the river left many with sprains and cramps. But the spirit was maintained as the snacks and tea was served hot and fresh.
After having a change, some still had it in them to play cricket. Sandhya was ready with the bat and the bowlers followed suit. As the dark drenched upon us, it was time to leave “Ananda Dhama”. Everyone had great memories to take back home. The bus started and headed towards Bangalore. Tired bodies were rested, and hungry souls got to satiate at “Inchara” on reaching Bangalore.
All said and done, the outing was to freshen the minds. What turned out was freshening of both minds and the body. Everyone enjoyed the 15 odd hours spent with enjoyment and entertainment. Now we have many ears which are eagerly awaiting the sound which calls them for another “Ananda” time.

Lazy Bones, Young Hearts
As with all divisions of MindTree, LANSA too came out with a cricket team of its own. Whilst the team was about to be formed a lot of people jumped in to join the team. Many felt they had ample time to “take off” and have some fun. Finally a list of 21 was listed and the team was formed, a team which had a healthy mix of youth and experience and ably guided by a senior pro who has seen it all and done it before.
There were some practice sessions and some mock matches. It was here that we could differentiate between the lazy and young ones. Most of the new Minds, very young by age, could see the effect of having a lazy body. The bones were so slow and lazy that most of the things which were supposed to be a cake walk turned out to be very cumbersome business. The spirit and zest were up to the mark, however the lazy bones that we were, ultimately were outshone by the young hearts.
These young hearts were very small in numbers. Raju, Satish and Zameer (If I can group them), were these young hearts. Being on the wrong side of the age, to compete with kids was a tremendous act. It’s an act of courage as many bones needed some stretching. Contrastingly, the youngsters that we were could neither match to either their skills or their hearts.
In every competitive environment, it was proved that the young hearts can win. It was shown that laziness is a hindrance to all acts. We, the Campus Minds, straight out of college were supposed to have played a greater part. As it turned out that the sabbatical of a short duration was enough to keep these lazy bones of ours at bay. As Raju pointed out aptly, it was just that we had to perform to our potential and we would be victorious. This was not the case as we were too lazy to get our act together.
The young hearts were the ones with experience. They showed determination; grit, patience and most importantly were totally committed to the task. These were the highlights that we all are supposed to learn. One could see these young hearts and the experienced brains working in sync and showing great managing skills. The way every other player in the team was nurtured was there to be seen for all. Wisely, they kept the best for the occasion.
Satish, showed that all we require is to be at ease. He ensured that it happens by livening up the spirits every now and then. The spirits were maintained high. What was supposed to be done by all was almost handled single handedly. The prowesses were on display on every available opportunity. This was obliviously done to have some fun, and thus was taken in right spirits through out.
Zameer, the captain, what can one say. This silent performer can be attributed with not just skills but as well with some great fitness. Most of us did envy the fitness as it was not an easy task. His words can be heard only when required. There was a thrust that things uttered were the ones which were meant a great deal.
The elders, the experienced and the young hearts had made a team consisting of lazy bones, ready for the match day. The timely advice provided by them was very valuable. The most emphasized point was, enjoy one selves when on field. We were made conscious that we are playing to have some fun and winning would just be a bonus.
With these thoughts in mind, the match was eagerly approached. The end result was, match was lost and yet the team was happy that we had enjoyed to the core. The match was closely fought and the score line would show a great team effort. What would go unnoticed is the fact that the platform for an exciting finish was laid by the young hearts. It was the grit of the senior pros, Raju and Satish which kept the team well within the sights of the match.
There was this gentleman who was there and thereabouts through out, encouraging the team to perform well. Again the young heart that he has is mention worthy. H.P, as he is called fondly by one and all, for all his experience stood outside the filed and provided some valuable tips and guidelines. The “X” factor that he bestowed upon us was really praise worthy. Thank you Sir.
The point of emphasis is that being young at heart is always more important than any other thing. These young hearts bore the brunt of their bodies and were steady enough to encourage others and improve the overall output. The energy levels showed by all of them were commendable and spurred the rest to give in the best. This is a small token of appreciation for the efforts that you guys have put in.
The people who have witnessed the match and practice would surely second this opinion. Though the lazy bones did let us down, we still take pride in the fact that we were in the company of such hearts which gave us a lot to learn and yearn about. The young hearts over took the lazy bones and came out victorious though there was no battle fought.
Hats Off!!!!!!
